The CDC just today updated their Ebola protocols.
STILL they have no idea what protections the medical staff needs!!!!!!!
They had no protective gear protocols for the medical staff in Dallas.
NONE.
Do a Page Save As, because when the Ebola Czar sees this page it will removed.
http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/hcp/infection-prevention-and-control-recommendations.html
But oour nurses can’t legally use Canadian medical protocols.
Nor should they be required to search other nations CDC equivlsnts for them.
OSHA’s is the same but more difficult to read.
I wish the CdDc had used and will use the recommendations of that Canadian site.
“CONTAINMENT REQUIREMENTS: Containment Level 4 facilities, equipment, and operational practices for work involving infectious or potentially infectious materials, animals, and cultures.”
The CDC told the dallad staff that head to toe suits was not needed nor recommended.
Careful - the CDC may send a SWAT to see you. Funny how he used the term “SWAT” vs. “Quick Reaction” or some other functionally appropriate term for what he was supposedly describing.
