CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Human remains discovered Saturday are believed to be the body of missing University of Virginia student Hannah Graham, police said.
A press conference is underway.
The remains were found off Old Lynchburg Road today during a search for Graham, who was last seen Sept. 13 in an area of Charlottesville known as the Downtown Mall. Police have been asking owners of large parcels of property in surrounding counties to search their land and report back.
Jesse Matthew, 32, is now behind bars, arrested in Texas as a suspect in Graham’s disappearance. He was transferred to Virginia and charged with abduction with intent to defile, and is being held in a Virginia jail.

They can minimize them by the fact that the driver's picture and name is sent to the rider, along with vehicle information. All that data is tracked by the company. It also links the passenger to the driver. The cars are also tracked real-time as to position, so you can find the closest driver to you.

Two other, older, women in the Charlottesville area ‘went missing’ last summer. I hope their families can also know that remains have been found, rather than that lingering ‘not knowing.’

I guess I missed seeing it that way and thought of it more as a descriptive comment. We’re so used to seeing really ugly comments about people anymore that we become immune to it - sadly.

No I didn’t mean it as cruel. There was a discussion on the topic of her eyebrows on this board. They were shaped in an unusual way and some people felt it pegged her as a certain kind of woman.
I guess I missed the humor in the occasion. I’m a parent and I can’t imagine how catastrophic it would be if I lost one of my children this way.

Wow. No human feelings at all, huh? The “girl with funny eyebrows” was murdered. Most likely suffered greatly before dying too.

Sadly, once again, another young woman underestimated the perils in our society. Gee, I could take one look at this freak and know I could be in trouble, let alone get a drink with him. Prayers for her family.
