President Obama is taking time out from his much-trumpeted "year of action" to observe a period more important to his Democratic allies in Congress: the season of campaigning..
One by one, the Obama administration is setting aside key priorities, in the hope that voters won't do the same to his fellow Democrats.
Immigration reform, once deemed a pressing back-to-school item, will wait at least until the winter holidays.
Enrollment in Obamacare will start six weeks later than last year. The climate will warm at the same rate, with new regulations pending.
The latest addition to the not-to-do list came this week, when the White House put off an announcement on the president's nominee for attorney general, a pick he has been privately thinking about a long time.
White House aides smile and defend the strategy, saying privately that they're trying to be sensitive to the concerns of Democrats, especially senators in tough election races.

But he’s already done so much.
Thank you.
Normally I might would agree with you but I don’t trust Obama as much as a lot of you.
He is the most un-American president in our nation’s history. He’s fine with bringing hundreds of thousands of muslim “refugees” after the elections. I assume that’s fine with you too.
Personally, I believe the POS is hellbent on the destruction of the United States as we know it. He despises the America most of us grew up loving. I want as many roadblocks in the way as possible to keep him from achieving his agenda.
The next two years are going to be very challenging for this nation to overcome. It’s because I have that little trust for Obama.
Two more years of this. Hard to imagine.
GG, if the Republicans, whoever and whatever they are, do not deliver over the next two years, we are in for a single-party government and the end of the Republic.
This is not going to be pretty.
Thanks for the ping!
I agree. I am the most die hard life long Republican you ever saw. I am only giving the GOP one more shot and then as far as I’m concerned its the 1776 solution.
dear liz,
how much voter fraud do you think will be covered here, in the re-election attempt of ‘the blonde from the chocolate city’?
It is the Landrieu dynasty, i.e., father former governor, brother mayor of New orleans, daughter Hurricane mary/Obamacare mary.
Democrat = Doom
E.G., Rubio supposedly represents a state in which voters registered in other states can steal an election with ease. Never heard a word about it, even after Col. was defrauded and high-jacked out of his seat in Congress. Let's be politically correct and not even mention the massive fraud in every "Urban Area." What's that supposed to take? dead Black Panthers at your precinct?
Here's an idea: No more highway funds until a state presents a clean voter list. Every registered voter alive, and equipped with ID. Cross check New Jersey and Florida. What makes those SOBS think they have the right to screw up two states? MA and ME or NH? Three states corrupted by double-dipping Massholes.
Election fraud happens to be a fairly popular issue nationally. A recent Rasmussen poll I saw put the percentage of respondents nationally who lacked confidence in the integrity of the election system at 42%. So I really don't understand the reluctance of so many top-tier GOP politicians to speak out, especially when the fraud and cheating (with rare exception) only hurts the chances of Republican candidates.
FYI, though, last week two GOP state officials, the Secretaries of State in Colorado (Scott Gessler) and Kansas (Kris Kobain) spoke out about election fraud at a Heritage Foundation event in Washington. So not everyone is turning the other cheek to these crimes against the American system. Let's recognize that there are some good guys in this.
” GG, if the Republicans, whoever and whatever they are, do not deliver over the next two years, we are in for a single-party government and the end of the Republic. “
Correct.
OK, out of 50 Attorneys General and Secretaries of State, many of them "Republican," two guys who have done nothing in the jurisdictions where they had the authority to do something, speak out at the American Heritage Foundation, the proceeding of which both of these "good guys" knew damn well would not be NOT covered anywhere in the MSM. Thanks for letting US know, anyway.
Meanwhile not one (1) uno, ein, un, so-called "candidate," or potential candidate has said a word about election fraud that I am aware of.
Fraud? Simply an accepted part of the Democrat Election Playbook. After Jack Kennedy stole Illinois in 1960, fraud somehow became that which Republicans will not name. Blame Eisenhower and keep looking for good guys.

We are up against a powerful force. NOT the Dems, the RINO Republicans. They have all the money.
