I’m hard pressed to think of much that the GOP as a whole has done to earn votes.
IRS? Benghazi? Fast & Furious? Spending? Limited government?
Just recently, members of the GOP were screaming for an expansion via an Ebola Czar.
So, from what I can tell, we’re supposed to support them because.... HARRY REID! But based on their votes and lack of results, they seem to be more closely aligned with him than us..
Like I said earlier, I’m over it. 2012 was the last time I sucked it up and hauled myself out to vote for the “lesser evils” because it was TEH MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION EVAH! (like always) and in the two years since, the GOP has made it abundantly clear what they think of conservative voters and issues important to them.
But, I think people here trying to cajole conservatives into dashing out and pulling the “R” lever should just chill.
If your elected reps have done a good job, by all means, vote for them, but neither my senator nor rep have earned my vote this cycle. If they win and perform better between 14-16, I’ll take another look but I’m not holding my breath as I fully expect their excuse making to begin immediately on issues like ridding us of Obamacare. And I expect they’ll ram an amnesty of some sort through. I’m not going to be a party to it.
Again, I’ll vote and support most of the down ticket Republicans but that’s about it. The jig is up with this voter.
Which means the gop doesn’t care what you think if you are going to vote anyway.
Based on my (admittedly not comprehensive) personal contacts, a large number of American businesses can't wait until they can quit being health care administrators, by dropping their insurance plans and moving all their employees onto Obamacare.
They are x-ing off the days on the calendar until 2017 when they can do this.
That's the real reason why there will be no Obamacare repeal.
