Strange. I thought Yael was a girl's name, but he's a man.

No photos at his work site, but here's his twitter photo:

Yael is a columnist for the Kansas City Star. The Star has been dreaming about this election and wetting itself for months. They are scared to death about what Brownback has done in Kansas: set the wheels in motion to eliminate the income tax, poked a stick in the eye of the Kansas teachers union and made it clear that children, not union goons were his priority, and most importantly, he has run off the liberal Republicans who have infested the legislature for years. You can see why they are upset.

If Kansas succeeds at the expense of Missouri with whom they are in economic and political competition, the liberals of Kansas City, including their commie paper are toast, and they know it. They want to go the way of Detroit and they are very annoyed that the evil conservative barbarians are at the gates. The Royals are rubbing salt in the wounds, a little small market team with no payroll and no government overwatch who just like to play baseball. Oh, the liberals in KC are so screwed.

Of course there are the nincompoops here at FreeRepublic and in Kansas who want Orman the Magnificent to win and bring his brand of independence to pump up Obama and Reid. But, we don’t care much about them right now, they are staring up into the Kansas sky and seeing that meteor heading their way. It’s funny sometimes how things work out

He was born in Texas in 1955. He graduated from University of Kansas in the 1970s.

He’s a flaming liberal, but he is an American citizen.

I can think of at least one female Yaelle who could thrash him on the page or in the street.
