I’m betting they’re being brought here so researchers can experiment various treatments on them much more efficiently.

I’d actually support this, if it were being done at places like Plum Island where the patients AND researchers could be isolated completely.

THINK ABOUT IT!! If they die, the US will be accused of using them as guinea pigs. If they live, it will encourage hordes of people from western Africa to get to the US any way possible. Add to that, our medical system is already challenged with Entero 86, the uninsured hordes from central America, and the soon-to-be flu season. Do you really want to risk being told that a loved one died because of all the medical personnel taking care of non-citizens, because the US ran out of properly equipped facilities for a crisis, or because medical professionals had to be quarantined.

Intentionally bringing an epidemic disease into another area is insane. I'm beginning to think Obama is just playing with the DC crowd, seeing how much he can get away with.
