A University of Texas professor said Friday that she was "disgusted" on an American Airlines flight as the crew, fearing the spread of Ebola, kept a woman who had vomited shut in the plane's bathroom.
"I was outraged by what I saw," said Martha Selby, who is the head of the Austin university's Asian Studies Department.
Selby was on Flight 2325 Thursday evening from Dallas-Fort Worth to Chicago as she made her way to an academic conference.
"She was making her way to the bathroom and vomited in the aisle," Selby recalled. "The flight attendants, I think, over-reacted completely. It was just crazy."

Selby said she understands health concerns, but believes the incident amounted to racial profiling - the woman was black - and a violation of the woman's civil rights.
"If I had puked on the plane, would they have they done that to me? I'm a 60-year-old white woman with gray hair. No, they would not have," she said, noting that fellow passengers shared her concerns about race playing a role in the incident.......

Is anyone surprised?
This is the thought process of the administration.
I'm sure Professor Selby will be lauded for her observation and conclusion.
Better than chucking her out the door...
Paging shakedown shamsters Rev Al and Rev Jesse!
Racism charges have been thrown around so much in recent years they have become meaningless.
Another day,another accusation.
.
If she were white and had just come back from a west african nation struggling with an Ebola epidemic... HECK YEAH! they would have treated her the same!
“If I had puked on the plane, would they have they done that to me? I’m a 60-year-old white woman with gray hair. No, they would not have,” she said, noting that fellow passengers shared her concerns about race playing a role in the incident.......”
The flight crew acted very prudently. The vomiting gal could very well have ebola. Why should she get a pass for her race? Other people should be exposed so she doesn’t get her feelings hurt?
As to the leftist bimbo making the complaint, they should have tossed her off the plane.

I would hope so.
I'm a 67 year old white woman with gray hair. I would have thrown your ass into the cargo hold, so the toilet would have been left available.
After DB Cooper, ‘they’ made sure airliner doors can’t be opened in flight.
There’s a white woman who was stranded on a launch in the ocean off Belize because her cruise ship wouldn’t let her back on and Belize wouldn’t let them come ashore last night, Ms. Selby. Maybe you can be “outraged” about that, too.
Which would you rather be, stuck on a small boat at sea or closed up in an airline lavatory for the duration of a flight?
What’s the chance that Prof. Selby and all the other attendees at her “academic conference” could collectively figure out how to pour pi— out of a boot? (A) Zero
This is what air travel under a Restored Republic of Texas would look like.
Feeling sick? Don’t get on a plane without a parachute.
Only because they couldn’t get the exterior door open in flight.
“After DB Cooper, they made sure airliner doors cant be opened in flight.”
For once,”they” are right.
.
They just had an Ebola vomiting scare at the Pentagon a couple of hours ago:

Part of the parking lot has been blocked off and the person taken to a local hospital.
No mention of the person confined to the lavatory being upset, only the college professor.
Geraldo on Fox & Friends claimed that Duncan was mistreated on his first ER trip because he was black and poor.
I think they did the right thing!!!
This was well played
‘Better than chucking her out the door...”
and she had more room in the toilet than at her seat.
I am going to email American airlines and thank them for handling it correctly
we all should
