What I want to know is WHY was anyone who treated patient zero allowed to travel by commercial anything during the incubation period. This is insanity

Years ago during smallpox outbreaks (because my mom and grandmom told me the stories) entire households were quarantined and not allowed in or out until the disease had run its course. Food would be delivered and left a distance from the front porch. No human contact was allowed at all.

This thugocracy is out of their league

My mother, sister, and I were quarantined when the two of us kids got Scarlet Fever in the 1950’s. My father had to stay on the base and was not allowed back in the house. I do have a memory of people leaving boxes of groceries at the door, but that’s about it.
