I suppose hugging them is ok but to me, kissing them is a bit undignified and un-presidential. Really just shaking hands seems more formal and appropriate for a President to 20 something women. I guess in 2014 all normal standards are gone. I can’t see George Washington hugging and kissing the 20-something women of his day. If it is family or a close friend even.....
Kisses just seem a little too hollywood. I realize some cultures do the air-kiss thing even in formal settings but I just do not think of our culture as the fake-kiss type. Maybe it’s just the way I was raised. It would be like going to the bank for a car loan and getting a hug and a kiss from the loan officer. I mean, the relationship just isn’t the sort of relationship where that is appropriate.
If they were children even. But young adult women shouldn’t really be hugged and kissed by the president unless they are his own daughters.
