DALLAS (AP) - Two nurses at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital who cared for a Liberian patient with Ebola have tested positive for the virus. Officials said the two have not been able to identify any specific breaches of protocol that might have led to them getting sick. But patient Thomas Eric Duncans medical records, provided to The Associated Press by his family, do provide a picture of how nurses Nina Pham and Amber Joy Vinson interacted with him in the days between his arrival at the hospital Sept. 28 and his death Oct. 8:

I’m so annoyed by the 2nd nurse’s behavior I don’t care what happens to her.
Sorry.
.
The second “nurse” is as stupid as a bunch of rocks. STUPID!
The second nurse could become a murderess.
Pity the poor healthcare workers who have to deal with her at Emory.
She will not be saved by a tranfusion from Brantly.
The more I hear about the poor second nurse the more I get upset. Complete and utter stupidity.
“I don’t always fly when I have Ebola, but when I do...
I fly Frontier.”
as sick as the africaner got, the nurses would have to be in that room very very frequently...and spend considerably time....
:-)
.
So sad....in looking at the cdc website and hearing some reports on what their PPE is supposed to be it seems very inadequate....in some of what I read the only thing on their head is a mask and face shield. They need TOTAL head cover...if the other had projectile vomit/diarrhea then, sorry to be gross, if has the possibility of getting into the hair and under the face shield.
Also IMHO the hospitals need to send the pts out, once diagnosed, to central locations. Hospitals in rural communities can’t handle the strict precautions and if a breach has the possibility to occur it happens in fewer sites rather than multiple smaller sites.
“What’s in your bloodstream”
Same here. Irresponsible and selfish.
All about “ME” isn’t it?
A face shield, double gown and protective footwear isn’t going to do squat with this virus. That adds more proof to the nurses who are complaining they didn’t have the proper equipment or training.
So much for the CDC and their stupid “monitoring”.
L
Wrong blood type????
“Im so annoyed by the 2nd nurses behavior I dont care what happens to her.”
What did the second nurse do?
She traveled.
.
Yeah,the guy without protection.

Check this out. You may want to refocus the anger. I saw this on a new thread about Obama kissing Ebola nurses.
