Complete Headline: Ebola air scare in the US: Infected nurse flew on Frontier Airlines HOURS she was hospitalized ...and now the CDC trying to track down all 132 passengers aboard her plane
Amber Jay Vinson, the second nurse to be diagnosed with Ebola, was on a flight from Cleveland, Ohio, to Dallas just hours before she was hospitalized with the deadly disease.
Now, the Centers for Disease Control are trying to track down all 132 passengers who were aboard Frontier Airlines Flight 1143 on Monday with Ms Vinson over fears they could all have been exposed to the virus.
Everyone who was on board the plane is asked to call 1-800-CDC-INFO (1-800-232-4636) so that they can be interviewed by CDC doctors to determine who is at risk for possible exposure to Ebola.
Ms Vinson, 29, was one of the 76 medical workers from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital who treated Thomas Eric Duncan, the Ebola 'patient zero,' and was told she was at risk for exposure to the disease.

What!!! Your pulling my leg right? You mean AFTER this woman was admitted to the hospital her idiot family members who obviously were exposed took a plane to Texas?? The gift that keeps on giving
If Obama had a Ebola infested nurse for a sister...
Yup.
Read the whole dm article for details.
The whole family has apparently been lobotomized at some point in the past.
CDC says cant catch it airborne only by direct contact with bodily fluid.
Which is clearly bullsh!t.
Flu season is coming up. What about co-infection? If someone has a cold, or the flu, and then catches Ebola, can the virus hitch a ride when the victim is sneezing/coughing?
Ya, look at all the loon bats on the Internet...
Lets put our trust in government, CNN and FOX. They know what they’re doing!
Just like Duncan’s family, at least with Nina Pham she played it smart, she knew she had been exposed and told her family to stay away..the only one that is in quarantine is her boyfriend and of course the pooch..she knew what to do because she has something called COMMON SENSE..meanwhile this idiot goes to Cleveland, flies back WITH fever and her family members say “Hey Amber is sick let’s fly to Dallas”
Madam Secretary, you can touch Ebola patients with your bare hands, hair and neck and breath in around them with no protection!
There is absolutely nothing to worry about!
Yeah this seems to me, just to me, to be the CDC in full CYA mode.

You’ll note from the update time stamped 10:43 at that link, the CDC was saying at the time that she was asymptomatic during the flight. Now they say she had a fever of 99.5.
Which is it CDC? She did or did not have symptoms during the flight?
And this still begs the overarching question: since no one (as of now at least) is saying she was vomiting or bleeding or sweating profusely at the time, WHY is the contact she had with other passengers considered a risk, even if only a low one at that?
They have said repeatedly, we can NOT get Ebola as long as there is no contact with bodily fluids. So where are the fluids that give the risk?!?
These guys are absolutely incompetent!
So? The average body temp is 98.6. Do you want to quarantine everyone with a .9 degree variance?
Okay, that is a good question, did she take anything?
That is why the CDC is in full panic mode and wants to find those passengers..I knew there had to be another reason for this, because hey, you can’t get Ebola unless you exchange bodily fluids from someone with the disease right...but now we know..this Ebola riddled nurse had a fever when she arrived and then it spiked to 100.4 by the time she went to the hospital..those poor passengers on that plane, I can’t imagine the horror they are feeling right now..and I can’t say I blame them
I dont trust the government to get this under control, nor do I think this is no big deal. I do think that once the carelessness is tapped down, then this will start to ease off.
But I’m also a little tired of these guys on the internet trying to hype this up into some sort of “end of the world” event, seizing onto every utterance as “proof” of some coordinated effort by some shadow group to kill off millions or to collapse the dollar, ban the 2nd Amendment, cancel the elections, or that Ebola has mutated into some super virus that spreads by magic and that we will all end up in FEMA camps and that Jesus will come back soon.
These people would have been a real lovely bunch back in 1918
99.5 is not a high fever normally, but it does mean something is cooking. Ive had 99.5 many times from a cold but usually it means something is starting because by the time she got off that flight it jumped to 100.4
A link to this thread has been posted on the Ebola Surveillance Thread
I just heard it again. To be more precise, she was on a watch list of some type, but why would about 70 people have contact with just one patient. Also, in any situation like that I have ever heard of, the number of contacts is severely limited.
Breaking news...
People commenting on the Internet are not the problem...Or the issue.
Most all these dangerous events and problems destroying this country, our economy, our freedoms, our sovereignty etc, are being created by those in government, those in charge, and those allegedly who claim to be educated professionals.
No, they aren’t the problem.
But far too many of them are idiots helping to make it worse.
So? The average body temp is 98.6. Do you want to quarantine everyone with a .9 degree variance?

When you are
- a NURSE with medical training
- you are part of the team(s) who took care of an Ebola patient (in inadequate protective gear)
- one of your fellow nurses already HAS EBOLA from caring for the same patient in the same work environment
- you know that a fever is one of the first, if not the first marker that is looked for & you are considered ‘contagious’ if you have one
- you do have a temperature/fever above normal
........ do you think you should be on PUBLIC transportation or maybe you should be reporting to the hospital to get tested for Ebola?
