I guess my question is that if the hospital was in over its head then why didn’t they request assistance earlier? If even half the information coming out on their isolation procedures is true it’s pretty clear they didn’t have a clue on how to really handle it. If the feds are late to act then it appears to be due to equal parts incompetence on them and Texad Presbyterian Hospital.
I think it’s unfair to come down on this hospital... I don’t think 99% of the hospitals knew how to handle this. The information coming out of the CDC was how hard it was to catch. As it is being reported today the CDC is admitting they should have taken more steps to prepare healthcare workers on how to treat these patients. Once again our government shows how they can collect billions and waste it on everything except what they are suppose to be doing.
