I think it’s unfair to come down on this hospital... I don’t think 99% of the hospitals knew how to handle this. The information coming out of the CDC was how hard it was to catch. As it is being reported today the CDC is admitting they should have taken more steps to prepare healthcare workers on how to treat these patients. Once again our government shows how they can collect billions and waste it on everything except what they are suppose to be doing.
Ebola aside, I would think that hospitals should know how to deal with highly infectious diseases in terms of isolating the patient and protecting their staff. It sounds like this one was caught completely with their pants down and where just floundering around.
