Frieden on TV now. He looks and sounds a lot less confident than he did several days ago. The Ebola team sounds a lot like the NTSB Go team that rushes to the scene of an airliner crash, except this team will be wearing NBC suits. Says 48 or so people are now on the watch list for Ebola, all healthcare workers. Says CDC is casting a wide net to find anyone who might have been exposed. Includes 76 more people to be monitored "actively."
Notes that it is "very anxiety-provoking" to have been maybe exposed to ebola. I'll bet.
"We may see more people become ill."
Leading from behind again.
In the meantime this was also done today:

Interesting links there
Yeah right. And they’ll be going after 44 oz. sodas and salt shakers before you know it.
Um, doesn’t a “Quick Response Team” have to be, you know, quick?
The quick response team should be ready by March.
Now Dr. David Lakey, head of TX State Health Services (on phone). Reassuring listeners that all aspects of infection control are being monitored. Need to continue monitoring people on the watch list. Healthcare worker’s dog is also being monitored. He wants to err on the side of caution — no additional ebola cases have been identified. Will quickly announce any positive results.
translation: Someone in your town comes down with ebola, we can have the place swarming with bureaucrats within twelve hours.
Build a separate building, get big Federal grants, get your employees on someone else's budget, put 'em in space suits, get pre-cleared for ZMapp and brindcidofovir, and then say any hospital can do it, just watch our webinar.
Piece a cake.
CNN was very disappointed to hear this...

Hello!
Per Frieden: a Go Team limits the number of people/healthcare workers who are exposed to ebola. (Does not sound as they know how the disease is spread or expect a cure any time soon).
“Frieden” - It’s pronounced, “dumbass”.
One whiff of PC in how this, too, is implemented and applied and he’ll be right back to being mocked mercilessly.
I don’t think these people are capable of thinking in any other manner. They’re hardwired for PC. This virus doesn’t follow their narrative and they’re completely befuddled.
This, from the once highly regarded and respected CDC. Why was I surprised? Shouldn’t be, NASA’s going down the same drain.
Dr.Howard,Dr.Fine,Dr.Howard.
They could always have NEST teams pull double duty, they got the gear.. And the bullets.
How much ammo did CDC buy?
I’d say the gubamint is well armed as is,, to fight the scourge, we the american suckers have become for incompetent boobs with fancy degrees and titles.
Good. He may be learning a thing or two. He's definitely different than other Administration people, who seem to DOUBLE DOWN on every mistake.
Final score:
Quick Response Team 0
Swedish Bikini Team 40
Unbelievable. Three weeks ago there was no possibility it would come to The States. Then there was no need to worry, it was very hard to transmit it. Now we’re forming emergency response teams. What’s next, flame units?
