I am a rancher and generally not one to get emotional about animals.
That said, the dog is important to study, as they are probably a vector like they are in Africa. So it is important to study it.
Also, this woman is a hero, a casualty of Obama’s idiocy and political correctness — Patient Zero (and anyone else from this part of Africa) should not have been allowed in the USA -— and I have no problem taking heroic efforts while we can) to save a beloved pet of a hero like this nurse.

There is an update on WFAA that Texas A&M veterinary experts are monitoring Bentley and he has round the clock Dallas police protection. It doesn’t say why he has police protection but guess so he doesn’t get out and that some idiot doesn’t get in to him.
