There’s no good time to tell a guy you’re a virgin. First date? Too much, too soon. Wait until the third date and you risk being considered a tease. Second date? Perhaps, but at this point you’re both still fretting over whether or not to eat another piece of bread; delving into sexual histories (or lack thereof) seems a bit extreme. In today’s society, girls who really do want to preserve their chastity for a special man are shunned.

Why should he stick it out with her when there are so many others who are willing? A good girl can’t keep a guy for even two months if she doesn’t put out.

Today’s society have destroyed chastity for women. We have lost every bit of our female power to sexual ‘freedom’. Now we are to accept being used as a matter of course. Serial monogamy rules the day.

This strong woman is fighting for something precious and she’s letting other young women know that it’s possible and that they are not alone.

Yes. We need reassurance. We need to know that we’re not weird.

The sexual revolution has destroyed womanhood and I cannot see it being repaired.

The Biblical standard is chastity for both men and women.

Biblical courting is the only way to go for Christians.

Anything else is whoredom from a Scriptural standpoint.

The Biblical way is absolutely fantastic in how it protects the woman and has her best interests at heart, keeping away undesireables. A Christian man with good intentions would absolutely love the idea of Biblical courting - and should actually insist on it, as should Christian women and their parents.

The way the public has been brainwashed, it may seem "old-fashioned" at first glance to the unbeliever or Christian who is perhaps not so well-versed in Scripturally-sound doctrine. But when one considers that to the Christian, God comes first, above ALL else, from that perspective, it comes to be seen as the bare minimum of obedience to Christ's commands to his sheep. And, as Scripture tells us, we should find ourselves joyfully obedient, not begrudingly so, out of the sheer joy of the grace and lovingkindness of God towards his elect.

All that we are commanded in the whole counsel of God is for our own good.

The obsession and reaction by some here of this girl's nose ring is exactly the reason so many people are repulsed by "Christians" and their attitudes. They are the very one's turning people away for Christ.

The Book of Romans says that the believer's body is a temple to God, as God dwells within the believer.

Do you know about the Temple in the Old Testament ? Would you take a brush and a bucket of paint and walk in and start heading for the Holy of Holies to "improve it" ?

The Bible gives us a view of God's supreme interest in his creation, life. As Creator, he is sovereign over the giving and taking of life. We, the creature, have been given bodies by God; the true believer's body is a temple to God, whose Holy Spirit dwells within. Accordingly, personally, I would not make a mark on my body - out of joyful obedience to Christ, my Lord and Savior. I was converted after committing many years of many sins.

This is reality. This is the truth. Right or wrong, men aren’t tolerating chastity because too many women are putting out.

FYI, the “body.. temple” verse.

1 Corinthians 6:19 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

To begin to understand the significance of temple, i.e., God dwelling amongst his people, one then has to study these topics in the Old Testament. It is no light matter.

Well, this is certainly an extremely rare situation...Now, of course the opposite gender could go 40 years, and have a comedy movie made about his situation, but if a girl does this, well, somehow this is considered a heinous condition by liberal, feminists position...

You have a right as a woman to do with your body, what you deem fit, and natural...If it feels good, do it...

How many times do we get that type of nonsense thrown at our society, by the very people that produce this poor excuse for a magazine...

Why has sex been allowed to become this polarizing issue??? A taboo for some, and “liberating” by others???

Why can it not be an enjoyable experience when two people (of opposite sex, as it was originally intended to be) mature enough to deal with the responsibility, and accountability for their choice, and action???

I think both sides (of the issue) are extreme, un-repentant for their position...Pardon the pun...And it knows no boundaries, except to try and foist the subject, and issues, (good and or bad) on an increasingly younger audience in our schools (mainly)...

Sex, until about 40-50 years ago was a subject that had mystery, intrigue, suspense, and surprises for those who treated it with respect...

This young lady, regardless of the venue she related this (her) story to, should be applauded, and emulated, encouraged to tell her story to ALL, regardless of what you believe the motivations are...Or your opinion of the subject...
