People, especially women, who live in relatively free countries with a Christian morals system foolishly believe that this is the natural order of things.

You got that right.
To me the big problem with us Americans dealing with Islam, is that America is primarily a Judeo Christian country and cannot comprehend that Islam is a radically different religion with a totally different God.

Americans are prone to believe we worship the same God one way or another , and Islam is religion of peace. That's not the case.
Believe that at our own peril and the peril of the rest of us Infidels. -Tom

Close. But the real story is that westerners simply cannot fathom someone taking religion so seriously that they would kill, or even die over it.
