Republicans make some noise but they are as protective of Democrats in scandal as the Democrats are. Republicans consider the Democrat Party to be the natural rulers and won’t do anything to really upset them, even should they win all the elections.

This White House has corrupted the executive branch to the point where every agency and office is a partisan political tool.

Why Won’t Republicans Get to the Bottom of Benghazi?

I think the answer is fairly obvious: Don't ask questions the answer to which would require you to do something you regard as counterproductive.

We know that providng weapons to a named enemy of the United States (Al Quaida and its affiliates) is treason, by every definition of the term. Treason is not only 'a high crime or misdemeanor;' it carries a death sentence. That would require the House to bring charges that they KNOW will likely backfire because of the MSM. Gowdy knows that Boehner et al. don't have the stomach for it. He'll ask and give the witness a chance to blow the whistle, but he won't allow himself to be characterized as on a witch-hunt, much less wearing a white hood as the Slave Party would paint it.

Gowdy may have a way to get there up his sleeve, but we must allow him to develop this his way as he is the best we've got on the line. I'm glad McCarthy is staying with it, because I believe that it makes what Gowdy might do more palatable.

Because politically it doesn’t matter. If it mattered it would have effect THAT election, it didn’t, and it won’t this one.

Why Won’t Republicans Get to the Bottom of Benghazi?

Because people are getting tired of the Democrats and it's almost the Republican's turn to be first in line to raid the treasury. Why should they risk that by taking a stand on anything?

Probably because by the time Republicans get around to investigating Benghazi, ISIS will have overrun The International Zone (Green Zone) in Baghdad.

McCarthy is trying to out think Trey Gowdy.

I don’t believe McCarthy is that smart.

ISIS and ebola have crowded Benghazi out of the news (thought that assumes that Benghazi really was in the news for the mainstream media).

And of course politicians are busy running for reelection right now.

Republicans had an opening. They may get another opportunity, but getting the timing right is difficult.

Why did Hillary and Obama use American Taxpayer provided funds, equipment, personnel and facilities to overthrow the government of Libya?
These are people who were screeching for years about any American military involvement anywhere. All of a sudden, they’re for using the American military to overthrow the government of Libya? Not hardly. Not unless there was some money involved in it. Where is Qadaffi’s fortune?

As long as the repukes don't rock the boat, the dhims wont run against them. It's a win win lose situation.

Pukes win, dhims win, US Subjects lose.

My guess is that top Republicans were not in the dark about the dealings with the Al Qaeda linked militias in Libya and the plan to shift the arms from deposing a dictator in Libya to deposing a dictator in Syria. I also think that much of the dealings with those groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood, have been declared top secret.

I think Gowdy should just issues subpoenas to people and for documents. If they don’t testify and/or provide the documents, they go to jail until they are ready to do so. Hildabeast should get the first subpoena!
