It's simply stupid to claim there isn't a dime's worth of difference between the parties. People like you have set the bar so high that Ronald Reagan wouldn't be acceptable to you. But, Reagan was right when he said someone that agrees with you 80% of the time is your friend, not your enemy.

On the contrary, it's people like you who have set the bar so low that you would vote for nominees like Mike Huckabee, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie or Mitt Romney if they were nominated, as you would continue to support the re-elections of John McCain, Lindsay Graham and Thad Cochran -- to say nothing of Mitch McConnell, who has promised to "punch the Tea Party in the nose."

In case you haven't noticed, the RINOcrats have made it very clear in this election cycle that they are AT WAR with conservatives. Did Ronald Reagan ever say that someone making outright war on you, and supporting your enemies rather than supporting you, is your friend? Seriously?

ONLY ONE MORE RINO and Obamcare never would have passed into law. A John McCain or Mitt Romney would never have allowed ISIS to take over large portions of Iraq and Syria. Either would be restricting air travel to Western Africa to protect Americans against Ebola.

Except that John McCain (whom I voted for) and Mitt Romney (whom I also voted for) wouldn't fight and couldn't even give Americans a reason not to vote for a ridiculously inexperienced, America-hating and obviously dangerous candidate like Obama. And if you can't sell liberty and free markets to Americans -- AMERICANS -- well, frankly, to put it mildly, YOU SUCK.

As a result of their inability to articulate and sell core American values to Americans, each ended up losing the country to an outright totalitarian leftist who never had a friend that wasn't a self-avowed communist.

But I gotta give Mitt Romney credit, he sure had the drive and gonads to trash New Gingrich, the best hope for conservatism of the whole pack.

If only the GOPe had the balls to support a conservative nominee in 2008, there never would have been Obamacare. And certainly, we would have been spared a Democrat House and Senats.

Your precious RINOs had the White House, the Senate and the House ten years ago. What did they do to advance liberty, limited government, free markets and Constitutional law when they had the chance? Answer: Nothing.

They weren't even able to argue effectively against the slanderous attacks of the Leftist Democrats.

But you're right to blame "people like me" for Obamacare's passage, because I DID vote for McCain and Romney. But I hope to rectify that egregious error by NEVER supporting the RINOcrats or voting for one again.

Oh, you mean JimRob, Free Republic's founder? He fought Romney every step of the way through the primary and ended up voting for him. I did the same thing. We were both right.

Only someone whose brain has expired doesn't realize Romney wouldn't be allowing a terrorist group to takeover Iraq, allow tens of thousands of illegal immigrant children to flood the nation and spread disease, use the IRS as a political weapon to persecute conservatives or refuse to protect the nation against Ebola.

George W. Bush looks like George Washington compared to Obama.

You're dumber than Democrats. Democrats know they have to elect phony moderates to gain power but the liberals control the agenda.

There is NO chance of getting 51 Ted Cruzs elected. The best conservatives can hope for is a Republican majority, enough conservatives to set the agenda and conservative President with a mandate.

Your only strategy is piss and moan and let Democrats continue to hold power. You're better off not even participating in the process.

When Republicans were in charge of Congress, the budget was actually balanced.

One more RINO in the Senate in 2010 and Obamacare would never have passed into law. EVERY REPUBLICAN VOTED AGAINST OBAMACARE.

When Bush was in the White House, Muslim terrorists were on the run instead of taking control of large portions of the middle east and beheading Americans. We're headed for another 9/11 because "principled" people like you allowed Obama to have a second term.

You're beyond stupid if you can't see how much worse things have been with Democrats in charge. The idea there is no difference between the parties is laughable.

All it took was one more "RINO" in the Senate to stop Obmacare but people like you thought it was better to sit out elections and let Democrats grab a super majority in the Senate.

And, you don't get it. The Republican establishment relies puritans seeking the perfect candidate to divide the conservative vote in primaries and get the candidate they want.

Rick Perry would have been a far better candidate than Romney but he was ripped apart by the puritans.
