Amongst the many revelations in the new documentary on NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, is one that may seem of lesser consequence, but indeed is worth noting. Snowden's life in exile is actually pretty good.
Snowden, currently living in Moscow, was joined there in June by his girlfriend Lindsay Mills, The Intercept reports.

Doubtful.
He’s likely not getting rich, but he probably gets a small stipend until he creates a life for himself.
Perhaps his admirers will expatriate to help build that elusive fanstasy.
Gene, you are replying to a Canadian in a thread posted by a Russian.
Three observations here. First, no real IT company would hire Snowden to do any security work with a Russian-type Fortune 500 company. He can’t be depended upon. So, he’s doing mostly fake work that makes him think he’s worth something, but the checks coming in....are simply KGB-paid funds.
Second, Lindsay Mills is basically a pole dancer. There’s always hints of her being a $200k a year model, but I’ve yet to see this in substantial ways to be proven. Her background achievement is that she finished off four years at Maryland Institute of College Art. Tuition runs around $42,000 a year...plus living expenses....so you can figure someone (maybe the family) paid out $240k for her to graduate with a marginal valued degree.
Third. There’s an odd medical fact, which I came across in reading up on Snowden....he suffers from epilepsy. Generally, depending on the degree....it can affect your mental state. This brings me back to the medical discharge the Army gave him....which I suspect was due to the epilepsy. The clearance folks? After he gets picked by the CIA (his Switzerland year)....someone should have sat down and examined his medical history. I’m willing to bet....no one ever went to the Army medical records and saw his health issues.
By a Freeper with “Berlin” in his handle nonetheless!
An expat who is not a Snowden supporter.
That was obvious (to me) FRiend ;)
I bet he’s not even getting any.
It’s a toughy. I don’t like nations security secrets being exposed like this, but it exposed that the NSA views the American people as enemies of the US government.
Well of course...Putin knows he has a golden intelligence goose.
Cases like him are why such unauthorized disclosures are considered to be disinformation. Accepting his statements as unquestioned authority is to accept a flawed premise.
He has proven that he cannot be trusted with secrets beyond his own FSB & Guardian handlers. In the case of the former, they’re not above using anyone as a way to pump him dry of information. In the case of the latter, they get a free pass to show their contempt for the West.
Snowed-in is a fool. IF he’d had enough foresight into his own life, he’d still have a bright future.
On the other hand, Russia's president is an extreme narcissist with delusions of godhood, but I think one could make that criticism of the United States, too.
Yes, that is suspicious. That almost never happens.
If Snowden had done his deed on Bush’s watch he would be a hero of the left. I don’t know why anyone is upset with him; he exposed the US government (under OBAMA) as the enemy of American citizens, and we should appreciate that.
He vindicated a lot of conspiracy theorists; they were absolutely right to distrust the government, and in suspecting our government viewed us as more of a threat than the next potential 9/11 bad guys...
Unless Mills is also a trained operative, Snowden is taking a very large risk living with her.
What risk would that be?
Really?
What risks do you think a wanted American spy living in a foreign country might have?
Take your time...
