Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) thinks it's time for Republicans to let go of their efforts to repeal Obamacare.
Speaking to an NBC affiliate in Portland on Thursday, Collins argued that the GOP has missed its chance to get rid of the health care law entirely. She noticeably did not say whether she would vote to repeal or defund Obamacare, despite being asked.
"You know at this point, I think were past that," Collins said. "I think it wouldve been much better if thered been a bipartisan bill crafted in 2008 that had provisions that both parties could agree on, such as prohibiting insurance companies from discriminating against people with pre-existing conditions."

"You know at this point, I think were past that," Collins said. The sneering arrogance of mom-talk is total.

Yes, but they did so knowing that the repeal would never see the light of day in the Senate. What the House hasn’t done, however, is exercise its constitutional power of the purse and defund Obamacare. Nor has the House offered a comprehensive plan of its own (other the “Sean Hannity talking points”) or taken their case for repeal to the American people. The House leadership and the GOPe have yet to come up with a serious plan for repeal.

Collins is full of it.
If the political elites wanted to end the Obamination they could, and most people would support them.

With friends like these, we just might need a new party in this country.
Hmm.. I'm seeing a new commercial tagline that just might save Republicans! With friends like the GOPe, who needs Democrats?
