In what may be one of the most slimy campaign ads ever to air, Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis attacks pro-life candidate Greg Abbott by running an ad with an empty wheelchair that takes a shot at Abbott, who is confined to one.
Davis is the pro-abortion candidate for governor in Texas whose sole claim to fame is having filibustered against a bill to ban late-term abortions. Not content to speak out against protecting unborn babies after viability, the Davis campaign is now mocking her pro-life opponent, Greg Abbott, for being paralyzed.
At age 26, Abbott was struck by a falling oak tree that injured his back as he jogged by. He has used a wheelchair ever since and has become an eloquent pro-life advocate — speaking up for both the disabled and the unborn.
The ad has produced an immediate and overwhelming backlash and response from pro-life people on Twitter:

For Abbott, the accident serves as a reminder that regardless of someone’s circumstances, he or she deserves a chance at life, Abbott has said.
“As I laid there motionless on the ground, gripped with pain, as helpless as a child in the womb, I knew my life had changed forever,” he said at the National Right to Life convention in June. “Some people think it’s easy to write off the lives of the disabled or the different. But every day, God reminds us that all life has value, no matter the form.”

FDR, of course. Abbott should run an ad aimed at Democrats praising Roosevelt for his courage and perseverance in spite of his handicap.

After living in Minnestoopid for ten years I have concluded that leftists live in a permanent state of arrested development. They can not progress past a high school mentality, or even junior high.
Leftists in Texas are the same way, and everywhere else.
Besides, Wendy is not really a Texan, she is from Rhode Island and brought her damnyankee ways with her. Most of her campaign contributions are from northeastern damnyankee leftists.
I think her next set of ads are going to have midgets in them.
Family? What family does she have? She left her family in the ditch because they were an inconvenience to her ambitions. Thus I don’t wish anything on her family.
I am concerned about voter fraud. I have seen plenty of it in Minnesota.

I gave Joe Biden a pass on his idiotic “Stand up, Chuck” comment because he had probably never met Chuck and didn’t know he was in a wheelchair. But Wendy Davis deserves no pass. I hope her already faltering numbers hit the basement and don’t recover.
Let the coattails of loser-ocity forever be attached to this vile woman as democrats get thrashed statewide in Texas, even in what would otherwise be safe districts.
