First Lady and school nutrition advocate Michelle Obamas stringent lunch guidelines are limiting children to just one ketchup packet per meal.
A recent EagNews.com article profiled unhappy Idaho customers of the Obama administrations revisions to the National School Lunch program, including a parent who called school lunches not edible and kids who have stopped eating lunch completely.
Kids cant take two ketchup packets [for burgers] because that would set them over on calories, said a Burley, Idaho district food-service secretary.

Their chili sauce (Heinz’s) does have a certain taste to it. I think we have chili sauce from Aldi in the fridge right now also, no particular reason other than convenience. Honestly, I have found very few things at Aldi that I don’t care for. Most items have been at least as good, or reasonable substitutes to name brands elsewhere.
Plus, I live 2 blocks from an Aldi...

I saw this thread and passed it by.
Then it occurred to me..... eat more than one ketchup and the kid has his veggie for lunch. My grand son would eat as much ketchup as he could lay his hands on.
