“You’re probably right. The question then becomes, “who stands to benefit most from the panic?””

The media.

People selling Ebola home testing kits to stupid people.

I am waiting for Ebola victims to have their own civil rights just like AIDS victims. The gays argued we had no right to know if they were infected so the precedent has now been set for it to be considered an invasion of privacy to ask if somebody has Ebola.

While I truly hope it comes to nothing, the fact remains that it's very early days.

It’s certainly odd they way the world is handling this. Almost like the nurse drawing your blood assuring you it won’t hurt.

Is this their solution for man made global warming? Reduce the amount of humans?

It seems insane to go over there and bring the disease back to expose our population. As insane as virtually opening our southern border or worse — depending upon his [] next Presidential Proclamation.

Or are we going to have such a world wide calamity with Ebola, War, civil unrest, soft invasions followed along with economic disaster, famine and other diseases? That would be a helluva pretext for cancelling 2016 elections.

But than that’s just fantasy. Couldn’t happen in the real U.S.A

Voters have Common Sense.

Sorry, I gotta disagree. In my experience, very, very few RAT voters have common sense. Lots of Republican voters lack common sense also.

The only voting block I've seen that seems to have common sense as a basic part of their makeup is Conservatives.

Common sense is not near as strong as it once was. It's disappearance is part of the general dumbing down of America.

"I’m convinced that Obama wants an ebola crisis in America. There is no better way to bring American resources to bear in the effort to find a cure. The deaths will simply be for the greater good. (Yes, that’s how leftists think)."

I agree. This goes right in line with pretty much everything Obama stands for. It Cloward-Pivens the healthcare system. It supports population reductions that the greenie weenies want. It causes people to rush to the government for a solution. It reduces the stature and safety of the USA. It's a leftist wet dream.

People are looking to the CDC...but the head of it was behind the smoking bans for NYC and the transfat bans. This guy is a buddy of Bloomberg and we are going to believe someone that thinks a 32 oz soft drink is going to kill you? No credibility anywhere.

Common sense has been legislated away. We fly in the face of convention and logic.

I’ll have to see how to get in on the ground floor of the “Ebola Home Test Kit” business.
