The Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. marked his 73rd birthday Wednesday by criticizing the medical care of the first person to die of the Ebola virus in the U.S., contending he initially got substandard care due to his lack of health insurance.
Thomas Eric Duncan, 42, died in Dallas Wednesday, a day after Jackson had been there to meet with Duncans family and offer assistance, Jackson told students during an assembly at Farragut Career Academy in Chicago.
Because he got late treatment, this morning he died, Jackson said.
He pointed out that whites, who have been treated for the virus in the U.S., were saved from death.
People who are poor and dont have heath insurance must have the same rights as everybody else.
He told the students he planned to travel back to Dallas to assist the Duncan family.

It's the legacy of colonialism! /sarcasm
Cest LAfrique
JJ, get lost, you well over the hill...retire!!!
I think to effectively assist the family, he should retrace the steps of the deceased, starting in Liberia. Only then can he expose the massive racism that caused this poor soul to leave his beloved utopian homeland, sucked in by the cruel racist capitalist society of the USA that brainwashed him into believing he was better off here.
I wonder if someone can be a carrier and pass Ebola on to others but not get it themselves ???
Those children in his girlfriend’s apartment went to school for days after Duncan was hospitalized..
then they were outside and interacting with other children for more days
the whole family children and adults refused to stay home and quarantined so the law had to step in and make them and isolate them for the safety of the general population...
I for one cannot feel sorry for this family...
they endangered others and had no thought for their neighbors..
courageous ???
How much courage does it take to be selfish and only think of yourself...
You’ve got that right. Listen, of course there are many great black people in this world just like there are of any other race, I know this, but that still doesn’t exempt me from speaking to what my mind is the truth...a disproportionate number of them are problematic, at least those here in the States. I wonder Why? Can’t they rise above like others before them have?

Go Away, Jesse!
Al Sharpton AND “Jesse” Jackson SHOULD Swing from the end of a ROPE!
bttt
Jesse, what a slime ball you are. Duncan was here from Liberia with the virus in him. American health care didn’t kill him, but ObamaCare will kill Americans.
WHAT A G-DAMNED USELESS MOTHER@*$(ING LIAR!!! A BIG FILTHY G-D LIAR.

“Jackson loves playing with fire. Sooner or later hes going to get burned.”
Well, he did meet with the family. Check back in about 2 weeks to see if you get your wish.
Hey Jesse your son should have great access to immediate health care in prison. Should be concerned about your love child daughter that you abandoned in LA though.
Unfortunately, blacks overwhelming believe this crap. I heard it from two black coworkers yesterday. They both should know better, they want to believe the system is against them....even though the man they support is in the white house and messing stuff up. Never their fault. Blame others. Blame the whites. It is as sick as any Ebola victim.
If Jessie came down with Ebola and had blood filled bubos on his face, would anyone notice?
It is with interest that I remember that the first patient to be given penicillin back in the 1930s also died. He was white and English.

You’re right, JJ.
The guy should have been shipped back to Liberia for treatment by the native doctors there. That way, he wouldn’t have gotten substandard care by the racist American medical system (apparently paid for by U.S. taxpayers, even though this guy was an alien).
