Speaking of snakes...when I was a kid, my dad let me have virtually ANY pet I wanted...(several rescues). I brought in a garter snake and dad built me a little terrarium for it and everything...my mom damn near had a stroke! She got me back several weeks later when she said that the “Little guys eyes had clouded over, and that means it is very sick, and it was going to die, so I had your dad put it out of its misery” (Yeah right, mother! It was getting ready to shed its skin, they ALL get cloudy eyes then!). I had to give her credit though...she got her wish and got rid of the snake!

Refering back to my post on the RUSH thread....AFRICAN Americans despise AFRICAN AFRICANS, hence one of the many reasons we have tribal wars where I work!
YOu have never seen such racism as there is between actual AFRICANs and African Americans!

We had/have 2 Garter snakes in the pond this summer, Mrs S was not happy! They’d go for swims.
After what went on in Rwanda, Charles Taylor in Liberia, etc. nothing surprises me.
It’s all the white man’s fault of course.
My dad let it go in the garden...THEN my mother said (and I quote) “Bill, I swear, if you let her bring one more animal in this house, I am leaving!” My dad did what any good father did....he winked at me, told me to get in the car, and we went to the store and bought 2 guinea pigs LMAO! (They were married 67 years....Im guessing mom didnt mind the pets all that much ;-)
I just read today that Yemen has been over run by Iran backed rebels.
With any luck at all, they will also be overrun by Ebola soon, too
I had gerbils and they were boring too.
