According to Dr. Tom Friedtart from the CDC, as long as they aren’t showing symptoms you can not catch Ebola from them... This guy really is braindead.
The patient is the deputy sheriff tasked with entering his apartment originally. He is NOT on the list of 46 people to be monitored for symptoms. Since he wasn’t on the list, he did what anyone else would do - go to the walk-in clinic.
He checked the box ‘yes’ on the question about coming into contact with a person that had ebola. Bystanders report him being doubled over in abdominal pain at the time.
He is being transported to a hospital in Dallas as we speak. The response at the Care Now facility was massive.
