While Turkish troops watched the fighting in Kobani through a chicken-wire fence, Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that the town was about to fall and Kurdish fighters warned of an impending blood bath if they were not reinforced — fears the United States shares.

But Mr. Erdogan said Tuesday that Turkey would not get more deeply involved in the conflict with the Islamic State unless the United States agreed to give greater support to rebels trying to unseat the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad.

It is quite simple....... Syria is the Iranian surrogate that projects the mullahs power. Iran uses Assad to prevent their own hands from being dirty or bloody.

Further, the people revolted and like the Russians, have had their revolution stolen.

Not to worry though, the hippie 60’s pacifists will never permit a war, even against our mortal enemy Iran

The Turks want ISIS to win. They want to take down NATO from within, to free their hand to establish the Caliphate.

Turkey = ISIS = Qatar = Muslim Brotherhood = al-Nusra Front = Hamas =Valerie Jarrett = Obama

That's it in a nutshell. If one accepts these ties one obtains clarity of vision and predictive power. Denying these ties leaves one befogged and ignorant, unable to find reason in Obama's actions and inactions.

= al Qaeda = John Brennan = Grover Norquist

Potential ethnic cleansing of the “Pesh”. The Kurds have been a thorn in the side of the Turks for years. ISIS is doing their dirty work for them. Obama is a fool...

I’m not impressed that the US is “dismayed”.

I was hoping that the US and European NATO members would be enraged and considering ejecting Turkey from the organization.

What are we supposed to do, come to the aid of terrorists who have killed our teachers, doctors and soldiers? The PKK vs ISIL. Only if on our terms.
