The Chief said there are possible two suspects hold up in the apartment. Situation was fluid. Mostly he was just reporting on the Captain....said Captain was going to have quite the headache, but will be ok.

Report earlier was there were two handguns in brown’s possession at the time of gunfire exchange outside and brown moving inside. He may have realized he was being tailed as he exited the truck and was shooting his way in to ask her to join him. Wonder if she complied or is she trying to wait him out too?
I had a similar situation with Chicago cops in the late 70s when I lived there. Wrong turn, ended up in a baaaaaad ‘hood; cops pulled us over, escorted us outta there.

You are correct Vel. One person in custody. Checking on other person status. And other person not in custody.
Confusing as to whether there is a second person or not.
Time will tell, I suppose.
NBC Chicago reporting one offender in custody, second offender....dead.
