I'm mildly amused right now. DoD has instituted IDIQ contracting practices. Everything to the lowest bidder. The work requires security clearance and years of experience. They can't hire the cheap H1B labor. People with a clearance that will work for what they are offering don't have the skills to do the work. People who have both have been kicked to the curb as "too expensive". My amusement comes from knowing they will miss their deadlines because nobody is getting any work done. My amusement is tempered with a vastly reduced income stream and almost no work after 30+ years doing 40 to 70 hour weeks. My damn resume runs 15 pages. I have to hack it down.
