Oh, I have the opposite opinion.
I think a line by line listing of what the gov’t is costing people would be beneficial.
You know it would be because democRats do everything in their power to prevent it. They have sent thugsquads after businesses that try to pass this information on to their customers like this.
It’s why they oppose the NRST - because the cost of gov’t is in your face with every purchase.

It would do wonders for those who are free-market challenged.
I like the idea of say McDonald’s upfront saying a cheeseburger costs $3.00 and $0.55 was going to taxes, $0.75 to labor costs, $1.20 to inventory and overhead, $0.25 to legal costs, and $0.25 to company profit.
What I do not favor is McDonalds saying a cheeseburger is $3.00 on the menu and without telling you tacks on an extra $0.20 to pay for ACA.
Imagine if parents actually had to pay the costs of THEIR kids’ free public education.
