McConnell, Grimes lead in separate polls

Two recent polls released in Kentucky show the Senate race between incumbent Sen. Mitch McConnell and Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes tightening in the final month.

On Monday, a Bluegrass poll showed Grimes with a two-point advantage over McConnell, 46 to 44 percent. Those numbers are within the poll's margin of error, however they represent a positive swing for Democrats in recent weeks.

Over the weekend, a New York Times/CBS/Yougov poll showed McConnell holding a six-point lead over Grimes, 47 to 41 percent.

The race in Kentucky could determine control of the Senate as Republicans look to gain six seats to control the upper chamber.

Really? Didn’t Bhoner toss a bunch from chairs and committees? So which of your libs is gonna buck him?

Didn’t Mitch say he wants us destroyed? So whose gonna buck him? How does your unicorn fantasy materialize when the facts of the GOP actions show the opposite is the truth?

Legit question. Lets see a legit answer. Prove they are worth a vote instead of the same Romney excuse and ‘someday’ crap that led to those committees being lost to conservatives.

Cool thing called search. Use it. This has been discussed to death and I am tired of rehashing this stuff so you can continue to spin for the liberal republicans.

The shallow thinking was for the GOPE to piss on their base, use democrats to win their nominations, call their base racists and kooks and treat them with contempt. Worse still is the GOPE behavior in Washington, it is abhorrent. They are useless as a screen door on a submarine. They have raised taxes and folded on every battle coming and going.

Because you are not a democrat is not a reason to vote for you and that is all that is being offered by the Republicans. Frankly if I were a Republican running for election or re-election I would keep my mouth shut about my record at this point because their record is an atrocious string of me-too, me-too, yelps trying to imitate the democrats.

Shallow thinking, you bet, the GOPE and it’s “conservative” apologist are the epitome of shallow thinking. If you want to be the battered woman of the GOPE have at it Anny.

And all you apologist and enablers of the GOPE do you honest to God believe what you are shoveling on here? IF-—IF the Republicans take the senate you actually believe this bunch of low life’s will do anything. They are already out there talking about not expecting too much from them if they should win.

Tell me Anny, if the GOPE takes the senate and obama does executive amnesty you are going to be furious and demand action of the Republican Congress. They will huff and puff and strut around and do exactly nothing.

In a few months the debt ceiling will come up again, more huffing and puffing and then what, they will raise the debt ceiling with nothing in return and you will be content knowing they will battle for your “conservative” principles someday.

Come 2016 they will trot out the lefty of the cycle Jeb Bush and you will be all rah-rah for him and he might even stumble into a victory and then nirvana, we have the Congress and White House and then the Republicans will surely govern as conservatives, right. Yeah just like they did from 2002-2006.

Elections are not going to save this country, this country needs a moral and ethical rebirth and reconnection with God and winning 10 straight elections will not bring this about.

James O’Keefe is a hired gun to help McConnell of the GOPe, who voted to end debate so our national debt could be increased.

That’s sad.

You're not able to type a few names to prove your point eh?

Fact is you have nothing to back up what you said or you wouldn't be advising a google search.

You're a liar. You are not "tired". If you were "tired" you wouldn't be on these types of threads attacking people.

Fact is...it's not that you're "tired" of "rehashing". Fact is you have NO names to back up your claim.
