The leaders on Capitol Hill have long been unpopular with voters nationwide, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reids favorability rating has taken a steep plunge this election year, showed a new poll released Monday.
The Galup poll found that the favorability score for Mr. Reid, Nevada Democrat, dropped from 27 percent in April to 21 percent today.
Reids image has consistently tilted negative since he emerged as a nationally known figure in 2008.

Asking the nation how they feel about Reid is like asking the world how they feel about Obama.
Most of them are not his constituents.

That makes him twice as popular as Congress as whole, which has, IIRC, a rating of around 11%. The only entity with lower ratings is the press.

Meaningless.
The only people who matter whether he stays in office are the people who elect him. And apparently they like him... enough.
