The GOPe campaigned in the Primary, got their man, and he is losing. The GOPe should let states’ Party Faithful decide races without National Party interference, and then back the winner.

True, but we are beyond those two conversations now. It is what it is now, and it's all about Harry Reid and Barack Obama having their man win, or not. Period. That is all that matters now.

Exactly.

And I see good progress in weeding out RINO’s in the Primaries of the future.

I recall clearly the GOPe rubbing Tea Party losses in conservatives’ faces for many months after the elections. I’m just happy to return the favor, until they wish to declare a truce.

Is it only Conservatives who have to behave well? Does the GOPe get a pass for misbehavior?

"True, but we are beyond those two conversations now."

Tell that to conservative Kansans who are apparently sitting on their hands for reasons similar to the ones I cite. I'm not there.

So, on the ground, the conversation is not over. Thus, Ted Cruz must show up to re-engage in that precise conversation.

I hope Cruz is successful in saving this seat for Republicans. Then the GOPe will owe him. They will absolutely hate the taste of that crow. Maybe Boner will even take a meeting with Cruz, who has at times shown more power in the House Republican Caucus than the Speaker.
