The sad thing is the establishment in the party (I’m thinking McConnel and his ilk not necessarily Roberts) will never do something similar for Cruz and the like (although there are few like Cruz in the Senate which is sad in of itself)

The elitists have no honor and no sense of party unity despite their protestations to the contrary. So we know what I wrote above is true.

With all that said there really is no choice when it comes to Roberts and conservatism. He’s not perfect but he’s no Mconnel or Cochran. (Sad even THAT distinction needs to be made)

It’s just a fact. Any “conservative”’who votes against Roberts at this point is no conservstive at all. Certainly it’s understandsble how Roberts got himself in this situation, but the “Independent” alternative is far worse in this case. Far worse no debate.

It’s time to stop advocating or supporting Robert’s demise. Again he’s no Mconnel or Cochran or even Corker. The worst that can be said about him is that he has declared (for tax purposes) his primary residence is in Virginia.

I realize he’s out of touch with Kansas’ people but we have a SC nomination coming up (probably shortly after the elections) you can bank on it. Get some perspective people.

Roberts or no Roberts those can be filibustered and blocked. The question is if McConnell and McCain and Graham and the rest will do it.
