Will the GOPe stop attacking conservatism now? See Thad.

Comparing Roberts’ situation to Thad is silly.

Roberts is conservative. It’s just my opinion but there should be better targets for conservatives to target.

Not true. Both were aided by the National Party against competitors in the Primary who may have beaten them if not for the GOPe.

See separate posting in which Politico reports the NRSC aided Roberts.

The GOPe assists comparatively liberal candidates against comparatively conservative ones in the Primaries. They are not unbiased cheerleaders for either the party or conservatism. They are cheerleaders for comparative liberalism within the party.

And this candidate is a loser. I suppose he is conservative compared to Democrats. But what is the NRSC doing funding among competitors in the primary? Why can't they leave that to the state's voters, and back whoever wins? Answer: Because they hate conservatism itself more than Democrats. They (GOPe) ALWAYS back the more liberal guy.
