Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) will campaign for Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) later this week, Roberts's campaign announced Monday. The tea party star becomes the latest well-known Republican to join the effort to rescue Roberts, who polls show is trailing independent candidate Greg Orman.
The Texas senator will help launch a Roberts campaign bus tour on Thursday. Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) will also join the effort.
"To stop the liberal Harry Reid-Barack Obama agenda, we must win the Senate Majority and we cant do that without Pat Roberts back in the Senate," Cruz said in a statement.
An NBC News/Marist poll released Sunday showed Roberts trailing Orman by 10 points. Orman has not said which party he would caucus with if the majority comes down to him.

I would view the top two polls as outliers.

The Marist Poll has this tidbit in the the details:

Respondents in the household were selected by asking for the youngest male.....
We have no clue if Wolfe would have been more conservative than Roberts. Wolfe had just about zero experience in politics, including voting. So we're just supposed to vote for him on blind faith? You're nutz and get over Wolfe losing. My fellow Kansans obviously felt the same way about him and he lost, get over it.

Why is Roberts losing?
So much shenanigans have been thrown in on this race so we really don’t know what is going on. All I know is my family and friends will crawl over broken glass to keep this a conservative seat and NOT let it slip to 0bama and Dingy Harry. That is the most important issue here.
Also, if you are going to respond to me, at least answer the question. How do we know Wolfe would have been more conservative than Roberts? He had ZERO experience. You realize Wolfe didn’t even bother to vote prior to running for office, don’t you?

I’m comfortable that the nrsc’s support of Roberts and The Senate CONSERVATIVES fund support of Wolfe are reliable indicators. Plus, the GOPe (wsj, nr, etc.) is now squealing like stuck pigs.
Your turn. Why is Roberts losing?
I thought judicial nominees now need only a straight majority, so it’s assumed if the Ds were to maintain control of the Senate, Obama’s nominees would pass right through. If the R’s take over control, that’s far less a sure thing, tho R’s tend to vote less in lockstep than do the Ds.
You fail to read, Wolfe had ZERO experience and didn’t even bother to vote prior to running for the Senate. He wasn’t a very good candidate to boot. Yet, we’re supposed to vote for him on blind faith? Screw that, we’re smarter than that. Obviously you have no idea whether Wolfe would more conservative or not but it was you that made the claim.
I already told you with all the shenanigans going on here, we don’t know the real story of what is going on here and we don’t. I have absolutely have no trust for the media and what they tell us is going on because time and time again have proved THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED. If you trust them, fine, that’s your prerogative but that doesn’t mean others have to.
Giving this fairly conservative Senate seat to 0bama and Dingy Harry is just plain nuts. The left in Kansas is pushing this hard as you seem to be here too.

Those are very well done. Thanks much.
I get your point. Abhorrent behavior shoved down everyone’s throats in the name of progress, when in fact we are devolving into barbarians.
Who said Roberts was great.
I’m waiting..........
