Islam is the worship of satan. Explains a lot. You can say the same for those who support Islam too. They’re all on the same side, which explains even more.

But Christians should not fear.

I agree. Unfortunately, any church that is not prepared for persecution will fear and stumble. When the Communists in Russia began their persecution, the average church fell from 300 to 15 worshipers. That is a 95% (great?) falling away. That pattern was repeated in each of the Communist satellite countries.

Muslims are preparing to accept the Mahdi as their leader...

It's happening... this is close.

Ever read the story of Mahdi...it is exactly like Christ’s story...interesting that they would hope that over time they would destroy Christianity and replace Jesus with Mahdi...

uhm...not so peaceful - me thinks!

What if AntiChrist and Mahdi turn out to be the same person?

Fwiw.

I believe that there are at least ten known persons called the "Mahdi". The most notable was Mohammed Ahmed al Mahdi (1844-1885). He swept the Sudan clear of Egyptian rule. His fanatics killed General Gordon, who was an adviser to the defenders of Khartoum.

After his triumph, he died of typhus. A magnificent tomb was built for his remains. Herbert, Lord Kitchener, with the British army and Egyptian allies, defeated the Mahdi's successor. Kitchener's men destroyed the tomb. They desecrated the remains of the Mahdi. They threw the remains in the River Nile. His scull was sent to Cairo.

A successor was quickly chosen. He was the "Khalifa". Abullah Ibn Mohammed. Born 1846 and died fighting the British 1899. The slaughter by American made machine guns of the fanatical dervish at Omdurman 1898, is legendary stuff.

The tomb has been rebuilt and is a tourist attraction.

But are the concepts in the most widely accepted translation of the Koran simply linguistic mistakes?

Terrorist leaders are just men, mortal men. Bullets can kill them.
