At the very least, Irak was a perfect location for a Middle East base of operations for the US. There are two ways of accomplishing this in any given moslem nation.
First: As Bush did, by conquering the savages and establishing peace with ground troops.
Second: Erradicate a couple of cities where the murdering terrorists thrive, and then establish a major base of operations.
I prefer the second.
Good point, while Jack Lew says the economy is improving, he suggest improvements in infrastructure, education, minimum wage, “more policy to write”...
