This is just an observation and I am asking for any responses that can explain this. Each victim in their respective pre-execution photos looks so calm, not at all afraid. If that were me, I would be completely apoplectic, screaming insanely, tearfully begging for mercy. Yet, these guys seem so “Whatever” about it. I don’t understand it.
They’re probably drugged and trussed up under those robes.

Can Someone Explain Why All the Beheading Victims Just Kneel There?

I wonder if the victims are not told they are about to die? Maybe they are told they are making a propaganda video.
According to one guy who escaped the hostages are repeatedly subjected to mock execution/beheading. It gets old after awhile.
I hear they do these mock executions over and over again and the victim doesn’t know which time is real...at a point, I guess you just think it’s another mock one....that’s the one they show. Not the defiant one or the panic one....
