I think that author needs to step away from the bong and read up on the real history of Liberia-not the PC one...

He then said, people talk about well, we should not allow any flights in from Liberia. I mean, we in America, how dare we turn our backs on Liberia given the fact that this is a country that was founded in the 1820s, 1830s because of American slavery? We have a responsibility to stay connected with them, and help them see this through.
I could believe that he and Obola together came up with this BS over a few blunts.
And newsflash dumbazz-Liberia was founded because we ended slavery.

Guy must be part Zen master, because that one made my brain screech to a halt looking for a connection. We shouldn’t cease airline flights from a known reservoir of infection because our country purchased land and settled people there two centuries ago? Is there logic there that I’m missing?

Slavery was over more than 150 years ago. It was a system deemed wrong and it’s over. No living person has been touched by it. Just the opposite...they forget freedom comes with duties and obligations.....not freebies for life.

In the dictionary next to the word phrase Asshat, one finds this guy’s picture and name.

We gave up slavery and they gave up the right of return. If they want to reverse that deal we can go back to the old policy.

The “colony” of Liberia was set up by abolitionists to return FREED slaves back to Africa. Gotta love it when a “historian” gets his facts wrong.

Full disclosure-I’m probably only the 500th person to use it on FR, lol. But it’s so fitting that I will continue to do so.

You and your family can suck up the virus as a penance for slavery, idiot. But don't deign to speak for the rest of us.
Personally, I feel ZERO responsibility for anything anyone may have done 150 years ago. I am responsible for my family first.

To the stupid author: “The arrival of the 20 and odd African captives aboard a Dutch man of war ship on this day (August 20) in the year 1619 historically marks the early planting of the seeds of the American slave trade. Although American slavery was not a known institution at the time, this group of Africans was the first to go on record to be sold as involuntary laborers.”

Let me see if I have this right.
Slavery causes us to have to expose blacks in the United States to Ebola.

Many, many more white Americans died to free the slaves than there were slaves. This black game the left plays is one that brings out the stupidity of many blacks.
