Over at the conservative web site Ace of Spades HQ, weve got some more eye-opening analysis on the Senate race:
[...] Senator Hagans thin lead suggests a close race, much like what we saw in Alaska, Colorado, and Iowa, but unlike her collegues there, she has managed to stay ahead.

As you can see, not even Elizabeth Dole, who lost her seat in 2008 by an 8-pt margin, did as poorly with white voters as Tillis is doing now. She carried them by 18-pts.

If Mel Tillis would come in and and campaign for Thom, it might make a difference.
They’ll probably win in KY, but in NC I don’t know, KS? I don’t know.
“Tillis is the worst candidate running for an open seat.”
Six years ago the carpetbagger living at the Watergate, Liddy Dole, and who reported her mother’s NC address as her “home”, was pretty bad as well. For some reason the GOP cannot find a credible charismatic business person, media celebrity, or any other person with a personalty to run.
NC has a Republican house, senate and governor. They have successfully passed a ton of conservative legislation through and the left is howling. Tillis has been the speaker of the house and played a major roll in the conservative successes. He will be a conservative force in the US Senate. The left knows this and they are going after him with a vengeance. Someone on the right has falsely charged him as a RINO. And so the right is sitting on their hands. They are blind in one eye and can’t see out of the other, IMO.
I did not vote for him in the primary, but I wish I had!
