Mississippi Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Travis Childers today became the first Democrat to sign an anti-amnesty pledge from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), a unexpected and extraordinary play that could significantly change the dynamics of his campaign against incumbent Sen. Like I believe the GOP promising to repeal Obamacare.
It’s more than Cochran and the GOP have said.
What exactly is the GOP running on?
What is their message, their vision, their plan?

My take, not being from Mississippi, is that Cochran is an idiot, but at least he’ll caucus with the GOP. I hope McDaniel’s isn’t done in the courts, too.

No telling if we could trust Cochran to do that or not - he was certainly glad to make use of the Democrat voters. Plus, there is real concern that he is actually on the path to real senility and was pushed to be a place holder so those that committed the betrayal can replace him with their own choice. I pray McDaniel isn't through, but I don't have great hopes that he will prevail.

Cochran will do what Haley Barbour tells him to do.

I am not the GOP. I am unalterably in opposition to left wing Marxists and I might add their voters.

If Childers makes a few more rightward promises, we could have a real Senate race in MS.

All I know is we have to punish that vile tactic they used in Mississippi for the good of the entire movement.

Don’t feel bad. Nobody else knows what the GOP is running on,
their message, their vision, or plan.
And that is a big part of the problem.
Democrats bad, Harry Reid evil, may not be enough.

I don't vote in Ms but if I did I'd this pledge might just do it for me.

If they get away with is without penalty, they will do it over and over again
in the future. And that needs to be stopped.

Childers is probably lying but it is a lie that could get him elected

A friend of mine went to a Thad rally and wrote about it. It seems like “Weekend at Bernie’s.” The video and pics tell the story. http://www.midsouthsentinel.com/blog/thad-cochran-41-yrs-in-office-11-million-s-barely-walks-barely-talks-gopif-this-is-the-future-your-days-are-numbered

We are not Democrats! However what they fail to tell you is that they and the Rats serve the same masters. Ergo the GOPe has no message, no vision or plan that differs from the master plan, which is the same plan the Rats have.

Death to middle class America.

It might get him elected once but it would not get him elected again.
MS is a solid GOP state, not a swing state.
That will not change, regardless of how a single election protest vote
in MS develops or does not develop.

At least it might make the Cochran campaign and Barbour squirm a little
bit. And I would greatly enjoy that.

You seem to think you have scored a point. The only point you will score is your vote to advance Marxism American style. Congrats!

The only thing that I know for sure right now is that I won’t vote for Cochran. As to the rest, I’m still holding my fire.

I commented on that site about that event using my given name, you can look it up by date and time. 10/01/2014 1:32 pm. I normally attend these events in Desoto county but I wasn’t about to attend this one and apparently many others weren’t either.
