A man with a gun that the Secret Service did not know about rode in an elevator with President Obama during his visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta on Sept. 16.

Nope.
Maybe they thought he was just “happy”to see the president. It was either a gun, a roll of nickels...or something else.
Maybe you get the type of security you deserve. They seem as competent as our leader.
hand picked....former community organizers???
Let us hope a gun and an SUV never get together.
So? The guy had a permit/license and is not a convicted felon ?(which I think does not disqualify you after you paid your debt)
Once we start disarming one we will disarm all.
>>Wouldnt it be funny if a self-radicalized illegal-immigrant Musloid convert with a concealed beheading instrument took an elevator ride with Obola?<<
Does Obola have a twin?
Not a mistake. That was my thinking.
I don’t get the problem. Guns don’t kill people unless the person with the gun uses the gun. Did the man threaten the Prez? Did he draw the weapon? Did he in any way threaten the life of the Prez? To presume anyone carrying a weapon is a threat is irrational and contrary to our founding principles. Perhaps the man was carrying a weapon to protect himself from the prez, or from the human debris that exists in DC. I have no doubt that if he tried to draw his weapon upon Barry the Secret Service would have acted in a timely manner to protect Mr. Sotero and neutralize the clear and present danger. But simply having a weapon is not a threat nor a clear and present danger, it is a right the prez swore to protect not to destroy.
“Someone on Fox last night (former Secret Service guy, I think) said that Obama should not have been allowed to attend Mandela’s funeral because of the impossibility of ensuring his safety, but no one had the clout to override the political people in the White House or Obama himself. Can’t pass up a photo-op like that. “
Obie’s arrogance could have lethal consequences.
Accidentally on purpose. LOL!
As chaotic as the atmosphere of the regime seems to be... I would not doubt that at all.
there may be a problem in that we don’t know who the guy was....and yet...hes been reported as having been on the elevator with Obie..not the easiest place for john q. public to gain access to.....and no one knew he had a weapon.
its the strange sum total of the story that has raised my antennae.
do the president and secret service not have whole highways blocked off for his motorcades...allegedly for safety? YET here they are in a seemingly public elevator with a “stranger” who just happens to be armed.
they MAY be trying to Create a crisis to keep OBIE and the public completely seperated
Right, his arrogance could be fatal...and if something happens to him it will be attributed to racism in America. The Tea Party will be blamed just like Sarah Palin was to blame for the Gabby Giffords shooting and Rush Limbaugh was to blame for the Oklahoma City bombing.
I hope they get their act together by January 20, 2017, when they will (I pray) resume the job of protecting someone important.

And worst of all that absolute moron Joe Biden would become president, unless of course, he and Obie were in a meeting together in the White Hut at the time of the event, which would make Boner President. But we should worry that Boner might also be there plotting with the two RATs thereby making Reid president!
A top leader can and will make decisions to take such risks. There are times to step out of the bubble.
...but those times & risks must be _deliberate_, NOT accidental. Stopping the motorcade to get out of the armored limo and mingle with the people can be a sensible calculated risk. Going to a public event where security cannot be guaranteed may be politically necessary. Some random twit jumping a fence and getting well inside the private residence, or a well-dressed couple being able to talk their way past security, etc demands ejecting everyone on deck for that assignment.
