Actually it looks like he had to fly through Europe to get here. The only flights out of Monrovia go through either Casablanca or Brussels. So he likely went to Brussels, then London, then Dallas. So technically it got to Europe first, it just kept going...

I am talking about all people traveling from Africa to countries in Europe not just this particular person. Europe has much more contact with Africa the the US. British Airways stopped flying to Liberia how many weeks ago? Our government NADA. Hell, they don’t even have a back up for a major radar hub.
