It seems that Dinesh DSouzas problem is that his mindset is not up to date. He believes in such antiquarian notions as freedom of speech and worst of all he admires the U.S. Founding Fathers. The man is obviously sick and in need of therapeutic counseling. This according Judge Richard M. Berman of Federal District Court in Manhattan who sentenced DSouza, the conservative author and filmmaker of documentaries highly critical of President Obama. He was sentenced to five years probation and eight months in a community confinement center where he would be required to undergo therapeutic counseling. As the judge noted, DSouza just doesnt get it. And this therapeutic counseling? About campaign fraud? Methinks not. DSouza is fully cognizant that he violated the law and faults himself and admits he rightfully must receive appropriate punishment. The counseling is for his antediluvian mindset.
Undergo?
Translation: he is to be PCd, multicultured, homophiled, and Zinned. The last being probably the most important. He is to be made to understand that it is U.S. imperialism, racism and sexism, nationalism, supremacism, and jingoism that is responsible for the mess the world is in now. This is especially true in the Mideast where justifiable Arab rage is wreaking havoc. It is a case of chickens coming home to roost. Moreover, he is to be made to realize that the real U.S. Founding Fathers are Saul Alinsky, Jeremiah Wright, and Jane Fonda. In short, he is to be made to see that being an American is nothing to be proud of.

Time to re-establish the Founders’ Committees of Safety to take on the fascists occupying Washington.
“What I go from 2016 was that DSouza considered Obama to have been profoundly influenced by anti-colonial views while growing up and that this influence explains Obamas tendency to want to diminish the power and influence of the United States. DSouzas arguments were well reasoned and compelling.”
This was my take on D’Souza’s “America” too.
As far as our founding fathers, my take is that they would have been perfectly happy to be part of the British empire if the hadn’t been oppressed by the crown. No taxation without representation. They believe that Britain was oppressing the colonies purely on the fact of where they had been born. They considered themselves to be British subjects until the oppression became more than they could bear.
