It is very unusual for the father to get custody of the offspring. Sometimes it’s because the mother is a junkie or something similar. I wonder WHY the husband got custody and what pertinent facts she’s leaving out.
There’s a big effort on (as we all know) to normalize homosexual marriage.
It may very well be that 1) the judge really was, as she claims, trying to mske a larger societal statement by placing the kids with the father, and/or she objected to the kids being exposed to his new lifestyle (she says so in the article) and the judge decided she was an unfit parent.
The truth is that the only thing holding together traditional families is that men and women who honestly want one continue finding honest others who want one as well.
This story can be seen as the natural bookend to how straight husbands are often raped/destroyed in regular hetero-hetero divorces. Which is driving young straight men to abandon marriage. Get enough straight women to come forward with stories like this and young strait women will start following suit.
Quietly this is changing. I have primary custody of my kids. I know a few other fathers that do as well. I kept the house and dog too.

This assumption is common but inaccurate. Many judges, be they male or female, are leftists and are rabidly "progressive." If the judge does not hold a Christian point of view, heaven help the Christian undergoing a divorce, be they man or woman. Their cherished promises and their children will be savaged by the judge because he can.

I don’t know about in your area but in some states the leaving spouse who remarries and has a new spouse at home wins the case. Especially if the new couple is wealthier and has better lawyers. I have seen two cases where solid women lost primary custody to the husband and new wife...and had to pay child support.
The law is not fair. The law is not just. The law is only enforced.

Gay agenda and activist judges is enough of an answer.
It depends on who initiates the divorce. One person makes the accusations and the other is left trying to defend themselves.
