A Fox News host has issued an apology after making a sexist comment about a female fighter pilot earlier this week on The Five.
During a segment about Maj. Mariam Al Mansouri, a female pilot from the United Arab Emirates who led a mission this week against ISIS in Syria, Eric Bolling referred to her mission as 'boobs on the ground.'
Now, after outrage from viewers, and even his own wife, following these insensitive remarks, he has apologized.
** snip **
'Do you think the gents on "The Five," minus Bob, should get a do-over on that one? They're going to get in so much trouble for that one,' she said.
Gutfeld still has yet to apologize for his statement.
Sadly, it seems that Maj. Mansouri is used to these comments, telling CNN in an interview earlier this summer, 'Whenever a woman enters a new male-dominated field, they find the same hesitation, the same prejudice, the same stereotype thinking.

This is so wrong. He should have called it flying boobs.
He meant “Boob in the White Hut”
Boobs on the ground makes it sound like they sent elderly women.
Well, she’s a pilot, so her boobs aren’t on the ground. They’re in the air, dumbass.
Just take care that they have enough lift and proper separation.
And, you know boob beckel fed him the line anyway.
In my life, I haven't made a joke like "boobs on the ground" in 20-30 years. I'm careful.
This guy is on TV? Saying stuff like that? Either he's stupid, or immature, or both. I don't mind the sexism so much, but he's showcasing extreme lack of judgment. Maybe he should work in the mailroom.
Both he and Gutfeld are apologizing for making silly jokes that nobody would even give a second thought about in a sane world.
The fact that are making jokes about a Foreigner makes the supposed “outrage” even more suspect.
Meanwhile, Letterman, Stewart and any number of Liberal Comics can say anything about Conservative American Women, joking or not, and it’s all good.
The double standard is alive and well.
I got into trouble once when I referred to my wife’s bra as “flopper stoppers”.
We were out jogging together and that was about 43 years ago, so I think I am going to survive the comment. ;>)
Eric Bolling is an insufferable twit
He’ll probably end up getting fired. The aholes living in this country don’t know how to laugh anymore. Everybody is too busy looking for something to be “offended” about. Wusses.
Well, heck....now I want to see her boobs.
some people just can’t laugh at themselves
and that’s what “gender outrage” usually is
and it is usually hypocritical
as many of the “offending comments” are comments
we have no problem saying among friends, family & peers in mixed company
what men like about women is not “sexist”, it is part of human nature and the nature of human attraction within it
I hope the courageous Major never goes Tango-Utah.
You mean an over the shoulder bolder holder?
Yes, he is! He is so full of himself, too. And why doesn't he wear a tie?
That would make me take him seriously!
I can’t watch Bolling.
The man can’t even speak in complete sentences.
