Composting is going to be regulated soon. I can’t wait to read the 570 pages to comply with the new law.

*shakes head* So you are in Seattle? Go east, or north... The closer you get to the mountains, the more sanity will return : )

Everything's still just the way God left it out here in flyover country...

So, which one of these lunatic politicians will be going through people’s garbage to check? I thought once you put your garbage on the curb, it is no longer yours and free game to anyone.

The chocolate ration will definitely NOT be increased.

Whaddayamean? It's 37grams per week. Up from 45grams per week allowed last year.

the headline is dishonest.
Seattle provides a ‘food and yard’ waste bin.
The fine is for not putting the waste food in that bin.

Pike’s Place Market is going to be stuck. Most people don’t eat fish heads and guts, but many in the International District do. Is it garbage if a white throws away a fish head, but a crime if an Asian does that?

I’m not so fond of beet greens, sweetbreads or shrimp heads. Does that make me a criminal if I toss them?

I can remember as a child that my parents would say, “eat those soggy boiled carrots, kids in China would love to have them”.

Solution, box all the uneaten food (including discarded Moo School Lunch Meals) and send them to China or other EU third world country.

I live on my mountain located on the Olympic Peninsula. Seattle is about a 2.5 hour trip for me. I do my best at staying the heck out of Seattle.

We consider Seattle to be San Francisco-North.

Just video the trash findings after their next ‘meet-and-greet’ (aka fund-raising) and broadcast the hypocrisy.

Course, long before then, if it even was hinted as passing, I’d be dropping my trash off at the Council steps

Nah! Chinese children can eat Soylent Green... Feed the food scraps here to hogs and turn it all into pork chops, pork butts, hams, pork tenderloin, ribs, BACON, scrapple, sausage, hotdogs, cracklins, headcheese and BACON... Oh, did I mention BACON?

You won't find a plumber anywhere who thinks a garbage disposal is a good idea.

At $100+ to snake out a pipe, I'd be surprised if they didn't just love them.

Can I just toss the excess food in the street for raccoons, crows and even bears?

They need to take all their food scraps and dump them on the city hall steps.
