While President Obama challenged China at the United Nations to follow the U.S. lead in pushing for drastic reductions in national carbon emissions to save the planet from “climate change,” it appears that China has dramatically different ideas. As in: No.
According to a document deposited at the UNFCCC in advance of a planned meeting next month, China insists that the U.S. and other developed countries endure most of the economic pain of carbon emission cutbacks, and need to make significantly more sacrifices in the months ahead.
Carbon emission cutbacks by China and other developing countries, the document says, will be “dependent on the adequate finance and technology support provided by developed country parties” to any new climate accord.
In other words, only if Western nations pay for it.

I read that line about 5 times, just dazed by how incredibly insane it reads. "National carbon emissions" as if man is the only one creating and releasing carbon. Carbon has been released into the atmosphere since the earth began, from fires, volcanoes, earthquakes, meteor strikes, anything and everything where you find carbon atoms yet the percentage of the main molecule with carbon, CO2 is barely readable at 0.04%...a trace gas. I don't know about you, but if I was a plant that needed CO2 to survive, I would be pretty damn worried about a bunch of numbnuts trying to get that number even lower. I believe the lowest it can get is 0.02% before plants start dying off. Do we *really* want plants dying off? I don't know about liberals, but I'm really not into cannibalism.

They just say, 'nope - we aren't going cut down on our Carbon emissions (i.e., our development) unless you (the West) send us billions of dollars to make it worth our while (and still we won't cut back on our carbon emissions - we'll just lie about it)'.
What a bunch of cons we have running our Government. At least I know where the PRC is coming from. Our Government is working against our Country. They are more destructive than our worst enemies (open enemies).

I certainly agree with the title. Obama is way overdue for a “rebut”.
The same hypocrites that want you and I to have a smaller carbon foot print while they fly their private jets, drive SUV’s and have multiple homes are also the same ones that want you and I to die at 75 while they use every medical technique in the world to hang on for just one more day. Surprising, no?
